The public health centre has celebrated its Golden jubilee in 2004.

A plot has been acquired right opposite the PHC complex where a new building is to be built up. This is the Golden Jubilee Project. The building will be utilized in the best interests of the institution for serving the public, for consolidating the existing services and also expanding the facilities – in terms of beds, equipments etc.

The whole project is expected to cost about Rs.2 crores., to be financed by Donations. Donations / Endowments to the Public Health Centre are eligible for rebate under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

The Public Health Centre is a unique non-govt, non-profit institution – an organization of the community, by the community and for the community. Every one serving at PHC belongs to this large universal family.
